Point Reef - Pacific Northwest
Point Reef, a local favourite in the Pacific Northwest, offers a solid dive for those familiar with the region's cooler waters and unique ecosystems. You'll likely spot plenty of Dungeness crabs scuttling across the seabed, and depending on the season, schools of Pacific herring or sardine can be thick enough to create a shimmering wall. Keep an eye out for the Sunflower stars, they're always impressive in size, and we often see various shrimp species, like the Roughpatch or Sidestriped, tucked into crevices.
