Sudden Valley Marina might not be a deep dive, peaking at 11 meters, but it’s a surprisingly engaging spot for a relaxed afternoon. You’ll spend most of your time exploring the pilings and the various structures that make up the marina's underside. Expect to find plenty of sculpins tucked into crevices, a few rockfish peering out, and often, a resident giant pacific octopus or two making an appearance. It’s a comfortable, easy dive, perfect for newer divers building confidence or anyone looking for a casual poke-around with a good chance of seeing some interesting macro life without much effort.
