Sulivan Reefs

Sulivan Reefs, up in the Pacific Northwest, offers a real taste of cold-water diving, a bit rugged but rewarding. We often find the visibility here can be a game of chance, but when it's good, you'll glide past massive sunflower stars clinging to the rocks and spotted ratfish scooting along the seabed. It’s a site that suits divers who appreciate the subtler beauty of temperate waters, perhaps looking for a different kind of critter than the usual tropical suspects. Keep an eye out for big skates settled on the sand, and depending on the season, you might even spot some of the local salmon runs, like pink or coho.
