Verbeke Reef, somewhere in the chilly, green waters of the Pacific Northwest, offers a classic cold-water dive experience. While "reef" might conjure images of tropical coral, here it’s all about rocky structures draped in anemones, sponges, and various kelp. We often spot spiny dogfish cruising the edges, and the cracks hide shy red rock crabs. It’s a good spot for divers comfortable with cooler temperatures and keen to explore the unique ecosystems of this region. Expect a different kind of beauty, less about flashy colours and more about subtle textures and hardy resilience.
