With 197+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dugongs, hammerhead sharks and sea turtles - La Faille offers some of Gulf of Tadjoura's richest diving. Water ranges 27-32°C, warmest June, September, October.
La Faille is a straightforward dive, accessible to most, settling at a consistent 25 metres. We often find it’s a good spot for newer divers to get comfortable with the local conditions. You'll likely encounter a mix of reef fish, maybe some smaller rays cruising the sandy patches, and a few nudibranchs if you’re looking closely. It’s not a site that overwhelms with big pelagics, but it delivers a pleasant, unhurried dive experience.
