RAJA - Gulf of Tadjoura
The Raja, a tug that went down back in '74, sits upright at 35 metres. It’s a pretty intact wreck, offering a solid penetration if you’re comfortable with the depth and overhead environment – we’ve often found the wheelhouse accessible. Look for the resident moray eels tucked into the superstructure and the usual schooling fusiliers that swirl around the mast. It's a good dive for those who enjoy a deeper wreck, but it's not one for absolute beginners given the depth and potential for current in the Gulf of Tadjoura.
