אתר צלילה -סטי"ל (24 מטר) - Dahab

The Dahab ‘Stil’ wreck, sitting at 24 metres, is a surprisingly engaging dive. We’ve always found it a bit more than just another sunken vessel. You drop down onto the bow, then work your way towards the stern, passing through the superstructure. It’s a small patrol boat, upright and largely intact, which means plenty of penetration opportunities for those with the right training. Inside, the light filters through portholes, illuminating schools of Silver-streaked rainbowfish darting around the old control panels. We love checking the nooks and crannies for Rama Rao’s Scorpionfish, masters of camouflage, and the occasional MacAndrew's cowrie tucked away. Outside, the hull is a canvas of Lesser valley coral, attracting Yellowtail Surgeonfish and the striking Diagonal Butterflyfish. Our favourite spot is the stern, where the propeller rests, often home to a patient Emperor fish or a pair of Banded Cleaner Shrimp waiting for a customer. It's a dive that suits those who enjoy a bit of history with their marine life, and it's particularly good in the late afternoon when the light shifts to a golden hue underwater.
