Golden Blocks - Dahab

Golden Blocks gives you a different vibe than Dahab's more famous spots. We usually drop in and drift with a gentle current along a sloping reef that’s more about the texture of the coral than big dramatic walls. You’ll find some really robust patches of staghorn coral here, pushing up like mini-towers, and it’s a good spot to slow down and look for the smaller things. We’ve seen a lot of variable strombs scuttling around and often a few small giant clams tucked into crevices. It’s a nice, relaxed dive, ideal for photographers wanting to focus on macro subjects or divers just looking for a peaceful immersion away from the crowds.
