Golden Blocks

Golden Blocks gives you a different feel from some of Dahab’s more famous sites. It’s a good shore dive, easy entry over a sandy slope that quickly meets a mix of hard corals. We found it a decent spot for macro, keeping an eye out for nudibranchs and smaller crabs tucked into the reef. You’ll definitely spot some impressive staghorn and table corals, a few of them pretty substantial, and we even encountered an African eel blenny on one of our trips. It’s a nice, relaxed dive, perfect for a chilled morning or afternoon, without the currents you sometimes get elsewhere. We'd suggest it for divers who appreciate a quiet explore rather than high-speed drifts.
