Poseidon - Dahab

Poseidon, a site we often visit in Dahab, gives you a real feel for the local reef. It's not a deep dive, generally staying around the 15-20 meter mark, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed multi-dive day. We often see thickets of staghorn coral here, offering shelter to plenty of smaller reef fish. Keep an eye out for the odd small giant clam nestled in the sand patches, and we've even spotted dolphins passing through on occasion, usually the Indian Ocean bottlenose variety. The entry is pretty straightforward from shore, so it’s a good option for an easy afternoon dive.
