South Oasis - Dahab

South Oasis sits a little south of Dahab's main dive sites, giving it a quieter, more relaxed feel. We often find ourselves drifting along the reef here, watching the resident African eel blenny darting amongst the thin birdsnest corals. The reef features some impressive staghorn and table coral formations, sheltering a good variety of smaller reef fish. It’s a gentle dive, generally without strong currents, which makes it a nice choice for those looking for an easy second or third dive of the day, or for newer divers getting comfortable with Red Sea conditions. Keep an eye out for the unusual Snowball Chama clinging to the reef wall.
