Yatouche - Dahab

Yatouche is one of those Dahab dives that just feels right. We love the easy entry, a gentle sandy slope that just unfurls into the deep blue. It’s got that classic Dahab feel: dramatic drop-offs, but with plenty of shallower action to keep things interesting. Dive down and the corals begin to thicken, especially some impressive cauliflower coral formations. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff here; the crevices are packed. We’ve spotted banded cleaner shrimp scuttling around, and the schools of sergeant-majors and yellowtail surgeonfish can be surprisingly dense, making for a lovely visual as they shimmer past. Our favourite part has to be the chance encounter potential – a pod of Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins cruising by isn't unheard of. This site suits divers who appreciate a relaxed pace and aren’t solely chasing pelagics. It’s perfect for a second dive, or when you just want to soak in the Red Sea's steady charm without battling currents. You’ll experience clear visibility and a gentle reef slope transforming into a wall, packed with those familiar Dahab reef fish.
