With 57+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, humpback whales, octopuses, seahorses and spinner dolphins - IVY B offers some of El Gouna's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 21-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
IVY B is less a traditional wreck dive and more of a snorkel or very shallow explore, ideal for those new to the Red Sea. This old motor vessel, grounded back in '83, sits in barely two metres of water, its bow just poking out at low tide. We've seen blue-spotted rays gliding across the sandy patches around it and small lionfish tucked into the nooks of its remains. It's a great spot for a relaxed float, exploring the skeletal structure that's become a home for little reef fish without the need for heavy gear.
