Blue Water Dive Resort - Hurghada

The team at Blue Water Dive Resort are the kind of people you want looking after you in Hurghada. We’ve always found their operation to be refreshingly straightforward, especially if you appreciate German efficiency – they run a tight ship. If you’re looking to get certified, especially with PADI, we think they’re a really solid choice. They also offer some great mini-safaris, which we’re big fans of for hitting those slightly more remote spots without committing to a week-long liveaboard. What we really appreciate about Blue Water is their focus on making things easy. We’ve done plenty of dives with them from their day boats and they nail the logistics every time, from getting your gear sorted to a decent lunch on deck between dives. The Red Sea here is phenomenal, obviously, and Blue Water knows how to show it off. We’ve had some cracking dives exploring the corals near Gota Abu Ramada with them, watching unicornfish graze, and we always keep an eye out for a passing eagle ray there. For a chilled-out, well-organised dive trip in Hurghada, they’re definitely high on our list.
