El Aruk Gigi sits among a few smaller pinnacles, a nice easy dive if you’re looking for something calm in the Hurghada area. We usually find schools of bannerfish and goatfish hanging around the main reef, and it's a good spot for blenny watching. Keep an eye out for the Smooth-fin and Banded Blennies tucked into crevices. It’s pretty shallow, making it perfect for newer divers or anyone wanting a relaxed second dive with plenty of light. We’ve seen a few curious bottlenose dolphins here too, though that's always a bit of a lucky dip.
