Gota Abu Ramada - Aquarium - Hurghada

Gota Abu Ramada, often called the Aquarium, is a consistent spot just outside Hurghada. It's an easy dive, often used for check dives or when conditions get a bit choppy elsewhere. The main attraction is a sandy, sloping bottom punctuated by a few coral heads, perfect for spotting some of the smaller, shyer residents. We’ve had good luck here with cowfish poking out from under ledges and sleek unicornfish cruising past in small schools. It won't blow your mind with dramatic topography, but for a relaxed dive with reliable visibility and a chance to see some interesting reef fish, it’s a solid pick.
