Marsa Abu Galawa is a calm, shallow bay in Hurghada, ideal for beginners or those getting back in the water. Maximum depth is around 16m, with gentle currents most days. We often find a good mix of smaller reef fish here – think clownfish, pipefish, and occasionally a passing turtle. It’s a solid spot for check dives or just shaking off the rust.
