Small Giftun / Police Station - Hurghada
Small Giftun, often called Police Station, is one of those reliable Hurghada sites that usually delivers a good dive. We’ve drifted along its wall many times, often starting north and letting the gentle current carry us south. The main draw here is the schooling fish; big numbers of fusiliers, bannerfish, and goatfish are typical, especially when you’re not fighting a crowd. Look out into the blue for chances of eagle rays cruising past, too. It’s a pretty straightforward intermediate dive, mostly just a nice relaxed wall dive with plenty to observe.
