Extradivers is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, humpback whales, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 23-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
Extradivers, near Marsa Alam, often surprises with encounters. We've seen pod after pod of Long-beaked and Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins here, particularly in the mornings. It’s a good spot for divers hoping for cetacean interactions, offering a more relaxed drift than some of the busier dolphin sites. If you’re patient and keep an eye on the blue, you might just get lucky.
