Fandera Hemera
Why dive here
Fandera Hemera is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, humpback whales, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 23-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
Fandera Hemera, just offshore from Marsa Alam, gives us a good chance of spotting larger pelagics. We’ve seen Bridled Dolphins and Long-beaked Dolphins here, along with the occasional Bryde's Whale. It's a site that really suits those divers hoping for a lucky encounter with marine mammals, rather than extensive reef exploration.
