Gotta Hemera - Marsa Alam
Gotta Hemera is one of those Marsa Alam pinnacles where you really cross your fingers for a pelagic encounter. The reef itself doesn't offer much in the way of hard coral drama, but the exposed location often brings in the bigger stuff. We’ve had incredible luck with pods of bottlenose dolphins here, and the long-beaked dolphins often make an appearance too, especially early in the morning. It's a dive for those who enjoy drifting and keeping an eye on the blue, rather than meticulously inspecting every coral head.
