Habili Dibia
Why dive here
Habili Dibia is a pinnacle dive where divers can encounter dolphins, humpback whales, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 23-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
Habili Dibia, often called "Dolphin Reef," is a real favourite when we're diving out of Marsa Alam. It’s essentially a large coral pinnacle that rises up from the depths, acting like a magnet for pelagic action. We've had fantastic encounters here with pods of Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins, and even a few grey dolphins zipping by, which is always a thrill. Keep an eye out for cowfish tucked into the reef too. Strong currents can be a factor, so it’s definitely one for more experienced divers who are comfortable in a drift.
