Sataya East
Why dive here
Sataya East is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, humpback whales, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 23-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
Sataya East is a solid drift dive where we often encounter pods of spinner dolphins. They're typically in the shallower areas, around 10-15 meters, so it’s a good spot for snorkelers too. Below, the reef slopes gently, and you'll find plenty of cowfish poking about. It's a relaxed dive, great for anyone looking for a strong chance of a dolphin encounter without battling currents.
