Why dive here
Shaab Bohar Soraya is a dive where divers can encounter dolphins, humpback whales, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 23-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
Shaab Bohar Soraya is a reliable spot for encountering a variety of dolphin species. We’ve seen pods of Bridled and Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins here, often cruising the open water nearby. It’s primarily a drift dive, best for those comfortable with deeper blue water and keeping an eye out for larger pelagics rather than intricate reef exploration. If you’re here for a dolphin encounter, this is a strong contender.
