Why dive here
Shaab Ini is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, humpback whales, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 23-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
Shaab Ini is a good spot for a relaxed dive if you’re looking for a change of pace from Marsa Alam's usual reef dives. We’ve seen pods of bottlenose dolphins here, occasionally false killer whales too, often just cruising past in the blue. Keep an eye out for cowfish tucked into the reef. It’s a gentle drift, suitable for less experienced divers or those wanting to log some easy bottom time.
