Shab Sataya N-W, or the Dolphin House as most divers know it, is one of those spots in the southern Red Sea where you genuinely have a good chance of encountering dolphins. It’s a large, horseshoe-shaped reef, creating a sheltered lagoon where the pods often rest. We’ve had some magical mornings here, watching bottlenose and spinner dolphins cruise by, sometimes even getting close for a good look. While the reef itself offers some decent soft corals and reef fish, the real draw is absolutely the dolphins. It’s a good choice for divers who prioritize marine mammal encounters, just be sure to follow local guidelines and give them their space.
