Menadive - Safaga

We’ve spent a fair bit of time diving the Red Sea, and frankly, Safaga sometimes gets overshadowed by its flashier neighbours. But if you’re looking for a solid, no-nonsense operation that just gets on with delivering good diving, Menadive at the Menaville Resort is a strong contender. The team here are super professional, always on top of the logistics, and we’ve always found their kit to be in good nick. What Menadive does really well is access to the Soma Bay reefs – places like Panorama Reef and Abu Kafan. These sites are a bit more exposed, often with decent current, but that means bigger fish action. We’ve had some truly epic dives here, just hanging in the blue watching schooling barracuda and reef sharks cruise by. Our favourite thing about diving with Menadive is their early boat departures. Getting to the sites before the crowds from Hurghada arrive makes a huge difference, giving you quieter reefs and often better chances for pelagic sightings. It’s ideal for divers who appreciate efficient operations and aren't looking for a party boat, just great diving.
