Coraya Divers Red Sea - Safaga
The team at Coraya Divers Red Sea are an absolute pleasure, truly. If you’re heading to Safaga, this is where we’d tell our friends to go. We love centres that nail the balance between professional operations and a relaxed vibe, and Coraya does exactly that. Their setup in Naga Bay is spot-on, right on the beach, which means zero fuss getting onto the boats. What makes them special, beyond the warm welcome, is their access to the northern Safaga sites. While everyone else is heading south, Coraya often takes advantage of their speedboat access to hit places like Panorama Reef or Abu Kafan when the currents are kinder. We’ve had some cracking drifts there, flying past grey reef sharks and those big schools of barracuda. Our favourite thing is their dedication to exploring the less-dived corners; they’re not just repeating the same circuit. You’ll feel the sand between your toes right up until you step onto the boat, and after the dive, the hot tea and biscuits always hit the spot. If you’re after quality guiding and a genuine local feel without sacrificing safety, Coraya is your pick.
