Panorama Reef - Safaga

Dropping in from the dive platform of your Egypt liveaboard, you will make your way to the drop-off where the reef wall plunges past 30 metres. We typically head for the southern plateau first, which is often a bit more lively. Keep an eye on the blue here; we've had good luck spotting pods of dolphins – both the long-beaked and bottlenose varieties – passing through. The hard corals along the wall are robust, providing shelter for the smaller reef fish, and it’s a site that suits divers comfortable with some depth and potential current. It's a reliable dive for a day trip out of Safaga, offering solid wall diving without being overly challenging.
