Ras Abu Soma in Safaga is a gentle drift dive, excellent for beginners getting comfortable with Red Sea currents. The reef slopes steadily to around 23 meters, dotted with smaller coral heads and whip corals. You’ll often spot moray eels tucked into crevices and parrotfish grazing on the corals. It’s a solid spot for an easy afternoon dive, letting the current do the work.
