Shaab Sheer Soraya is a decent spot if you’re looking for a relaxed dive in Safaga. We typically find the currents here manageable, making it a good choice for newer divers or those who just want to drift along. Keep an eye out for dolphins, particularly the Indian Ocean bottlenose and long-beaked varieties; we’ve had some nice encounters with them cruising by the reef wall. The coral isn't the most spectacular, but there's a pleasant mix of hard and soft, and the chance of spotting a false killer whale makes it worth a visit.
