Moses Rock - Eilat
Moses Rock is one of our favourite shore dives in Eilat, a perfect spot for shaking off the travel dust or getting comfortable with your kit. You wade in from the beach, and it's a short swim out to the main event: a really substantial coral block that sits like a lumpy island in about 10-12 metres. We love how much activity congregates around this single structure. You'll often find a moray eel peering out from a crevice, or a Yellowfin Stingfish tucked in amongst the rocks, barely visible until you really look. The corals themselves are doing well, plenty of staghorn, and we’ve spotted Variable Strombs inching their way across the reef flat. Keep an eye out for Blacktail Butterflyfish darting through the shallows. Our insider tip? Go early in the morning. The light catches the sandy bottom just right, and it feels like you have the whole Red Sea to yourself before the crowds arrive. It's an easy dive, maxing out at 15m, so it’s ideal for newer divers or anyone just wanting a relaxed explore.
