SITIA - Eilat

The Sitia, a motor vessel that went down in 1973, sits upright in very shallow water, making it a perfect spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive. You can easily spend twenty minutes exploring the intact hull and superstructure, which are now completely covered in sponges and soft corals. Juvenile lionfish often hide in the darker recesses, and we’ve seen schools of bannerfish fluttering above the mast. It's a remarkably accessible wreck, great for getting comfortable with wreck diving before tackling deeper sites, and excellent for photography given the constant natural light.
