EMPIRE KUMARI - Tyre
The *Empire Kumari* isn't the deepest wreck you’ll ever dive, sitting at a comfortable 15 meters, but it’s got a real story to tell. Torpedoed in 1942 and eventually declared a total loss, this steamship lies broken but still recognisable on the seabed off Tyre. We’ve found her to be a great site for divers who appreciate a bit of history, with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore in the scattered remains. Look out for the resident groupers, and we often spot snapper schooling around the more intact sections of the hull, making it an engaging dive without too much current to contend with.
