EYAL - Tyre

The Eyal, a tanker measuring just over 40 meters, has quite a story. She’s gone down not once, but three times, finally resting in Tyre at a shallow 10 meters. This makes her an excellent, easy dive for anyone looking to explore a proper wreck without deep-diving certifications or battling serious current. The Eyal lies mostly intact, an interesting playground for navigation, and we’ve found the cabins are still surprisingly accessible. Look out for the resident groupers lurking in shadowed corners and the busy schools of damselfish flitting over the deck. Visibility can vary, but it’s generally good enough to appreciate the scale of the wreck.
