Herod's Submerged Port of Caesarea - Tyre
Dropping down onto Herod's Submerged Port at Caesarea is like swimming through a history book. You'll find yourself navigating amongst massive stone blocks, columns, and what look like ancient breakwaters, all part of Herod's ambitious engineering project. It’s a shallow dive, maxing out around 8m, making it ideal for newer divers or anyone keen on leisurely exploring a unique archaeological site rather than chasing big pelagics. We’ve spotted the occasional octopus tucked into crevices, but the real draw here is the sheer scale of the ruins.
