Altafyah Middle Reef - Jeddah

Altafyah Middle Reef is one of those easy-access spots just off Jeddah, perfect for getting back in the water or for newer divers. The reef plateaus around 20 metres, making it a comfortable depth for extended bottom times. We often find schooling bannerfish here, along with the usual suspects like parrotfish and a few anemonefish tucked into their homes. Visibility is generally good, sometimes pushing 20 metres, which helps if you’re still getting used to your buoyancy. It’s a solid pick for a relaxed afternoon dive, without too much fuss.
