B 26 - Jeddah

Dropping onto the B 26 is like stepping back into the late 70s. This lighter vessel, sunk just off Jeddah’s north port, sits upright in about 48 metres, surprisingly intact for its age. We found the wheelhouse still largely there, making for some interesting swim-throughs, and the open cargo hold is home to schools of fusiliers. Keep an eye out for batfish and the occasional reef shark patrolling the deeper sections. It's a great deep wreck dive, especially for those who appreciate a bit of history along with their reef dwellers.
