Coral Gardens 1, just off Jeddah, is a reliable spot for an easy dive. It’s pretty shallow, topping out around 17 meters, which makes it perfect for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed bottom time. We’ve finned past plenty of reef fish here, things like parrotfish crunching on coral and small schools of fusiliers darting about. While it might not blow your hair back with dramatic drop-offs, it’s a friendly introduction to the Red Sea's resident species and a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
