Horse Shoe Reef - Jeddah

Horse Shoe Reef out from Jeddah is a solid option for a dive day. We’ve found the reef slopes gently, making it quite relaxed, though sometimes a mild current drifts through. You’ll spot the usual suspects like Yellowtail Surgeonfish and the striking Red Lionfish, but keep an eye out for the smaller stuff – the Townsend's Fangblenny is a favourite if you look closely. It's a good pick for divers wanting an easygoing couple of dives without a long boat ride, particularly if you’re keen on seeing plenty of those colourful Red Sea wrasse species like the Checkerboard and Six-line.
