SAMAR - Jeddah

The Samar wreck lies just off Jeddah, a motor vessel that went aground back in 1975. At only 5 metres deep, it’s less about penetration and more about the light play and the way the Red Sea has reclaimed it. You'll find the shallow hull draped in soft corals, home to smaller reef fish darting between rusted plates. It's a relaxed, easy dive, perfect for photographers wanting to capture sunlight on coral or for those just starting out with wreck diving, offering a glimpse into the Red Sea's knack for turning old steel into a vibrant habitat.
