SAUDI SUN - Jeddah

The Saudi Sun is an interesting shore dive, especially for those who like their wrecks shallow. This motor vessel, beached after a collision back in 1981, sits at just 10 meters, making it quite accessible. We’ve found the stern section offers the most to explore, with plenty of entry points into the engine room and cargo holds for competent wreck divers. Look for schools of snapper and fusiliers darting through the superstructure, and we’ve often spotted lionfish tucked away in quieter corners. It’s a good spot for newer wreck divers to get a feel for overhead environments without much depth pressure.
