Isar Island - Port Sudan & Sanganeb

Isar Island gives you a solid Sudanese Red Sea dive, a good stop if you’re exploring the area north of Port Sudan. Dropping to around 35 metres, we found plenty to keep our eyes busy, with those healthy hard coral gardens that Sudan does so well. Expect good fish traffic – fusiliers, snappers, the usual suspects – and it’s always worth keeping an eye on the blue for a passing reef shark or ray. It’s a site that rewards a relaxed pace, perfect for divers who appreciate healthy reef structure without needing constant pelagic action.
