With 55+ marine species recorded in the area - including pufferfish - Shab Rumi, Plateau S offers some of Port Sudan & Sanganeb's richest diving. Water ranges 25-32°C, warmest July, August, September.
Shab Rumi's southern plateau is an interesting dive. You'll often find yourself drifting along a sandy slope, dotted with coral heads. We've spotted whale sharks here, cruising in the blue, and if you look closely, dwarf atomgobies darting around the bommies. It's a relaxed dive, good for photographers and those who enjoy a gentle drift.
