Ras Samid is a dive where divers can encounter blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks. Water ranges 23-34°C, warmest July, August, September.
Ras Samid, in Fujairah, is a gentle dive, topping out at 20m. It's a good spot for newer divers, or those looking for a relaxed afternoon. You’ll find a mix of smaller reef fish here, moving around the scattered rocky patches. We often see moray eels peeking out, and occasionally a turtle cruising through.
