Red Island (Jazirat Hamra) - Fujairah

Red Island, or Jazirat Hamra, is a reliable Fujairah spot, especially for newer divers. The maximum depth of 21 metres makes it comfortable for Open Water certifications, and generally, the currents are mild enough that you won't be fighting the ocean. What we really enjoy here is the soft coral growth. You’ll spot the usual suspects - damselfish, barracuda, and often a turtle or two cruising by. It’s a solid pick for a relaxed dive day, a good place to dust off the cobwebs if you haven't been in the water for a while.
