RITA - Fujairah

The Rita, a non-dangerous wreck sunk back in '75, lies upright on the seabed at 22 metres, making it a solid pick for divers looking for a straightforward wreck dive. It went down while under tow, so there isn't some dramatic story to go with it, but it's held up well. We often find schooling snapper and fusiliers hanging around the structure, with plenty of moray eels tucked into the darker spots. It's a nice easy exploration dive, great for knocking out a couple of relaxed dives in a day, and it's particularly good for newer wreck divers to get comfortable with penetration without too much fuss.
