The Brasil, or what we think is the Brasil, is essentially a very shallow wreck, barely beneath the surface in Mar del Plata. You're looking at a maximum depth of 1 meter here, making it more of a snorkel or wade-and-peek site than a dive. Despite the lack of depth, the exposed hull has become a solid habitat for various small critters, mostly crabs and anemones clinging to the rusty metal. It’s an interesting spot if you’re keen on seeing a wreck without needing a tank, or if you just want to experience a piece of maritime history up close from the surface. We'd suggest checking it out on a calm day; even a slight chop makes it hard to see anything clearly.
