CERES - Mar del Plata

The Ceres, a pilot boat resting at just 5 meters, is a fantastic introduction to wreck diving off Mar del Plata. What it lacks in depth, it makes up for in approachability and character. You can comfortably spend a whole dive exploring its structure, noting how the local fish have made themselves at home amongst the hull and machinery. We've seen conger eels poking out from crevices and plenty of crabs scuttling over the barnacle-encrusted metal. It’s an easy, relaxed dive, perfect for newer wreck enthusiasts or when you just want a straightforward exploration without deep decompression obligations.
