The IMBAR wreck in Mar del Plata is a shallow, straightforward dive, sitting at just two metres. It’s a good spot for a quick dip, especially if you’re looking to get wet without much fuss. The old motor vessel has settled nicely, attracting an interesting collection of local crabs and the occasional small fish darting in and out of its structure. We like it for its accessibility and the way the light filters through the shallow water, highlighting the wreck’s contours. It’s certainly not a deep blue adventure, but it offers a pleasant, easy exploration for divers who enjoy poking around a well-established wreck.
